Riding the Waves

Greetings EveryoneReader,

No matter who I talk to, the past few months have been challenging for so many of us on so many levels. Unexpected and out-of-the-ordinary circumstances have presented themselves over and over. Whether you've faced personal challenges, the illness of a loved one, or your own health challenges, circumstances have been unpredictable. The river of life has been moving fast and changing quickly.

Perhaps you are someone who has seen many of your intentions come to fruition. If so, kudos on your inner work and on keeping your heart channel open!

The summer months went by quickly, and due to my responsibilities off the yoga mat, every day turned out differently than expected. As always, my yoga practice helped me ride the wave, providing solace, centering, reflection, and connection to my spiritual body.

Changing times have been predicted. The question for all of us is: do you have your yoga and spiritual practices in place to move with the river?

Being human means sometimes we are on and sometimes we are off. Over my career as a yoga instructor, I've created a wealth of resources — courses, therapeutic DVDs, and individual classes. All are now available in my newly revised Yoga Wisdom Monthly Membership.

My intent, as always, is to provide you with mindful, therapeutic sequences and courses to help you navigate your yoga journey with grace and insight. I hope you'll see the value in these offerings and let them help you sustain your yoga discipline and flow with the river.

In the light of yoga,
Lillah

HelloReader, I have a question for you. How strong is your personal yoga practice? And what obstacles do you face in trying to be consistent? To reap the full benefits of a yoga practice, it requires devotion. Not just showing up to a weekly class, but also engaging in a personal practice. A personal practice gives us the opportunity to breathe, compress, expand, and open so we can remember and reinforce our inner journey and the expression of our spiritual body. With ongoing devotion to...

HelloReader, Ever notice how relative time is? From one perspective a year is not a very long time, from another perspective a year is a long time. The year of recovery after hurricane Helene seems like a long time. For me personally the last time I was able to fully dedicate myself to sharing my skills and gifts with you, my greater Yoga community, was August 2024 pre- Helene, which seems like a long time ago. Since August 2024, I have been involved in clearing, recycling, and passing on...

Greetings Reader, Do you struggle with recurring back pain in spite of your best efforts? Ever notice how an area that used to bother you for only a day now lasts all week? Does your yoga practice sometimes aggravate your back pain? Are you ready to discover the missing keys to find relief? The good news is that research shows that 80% of people with back pain get relief from yoga. However practicing yoga without a back care perspective can actually lead to injury. And with so many different...
